How and when to enter The Shoot Out Newcastle 2008

• All teams will enter The Shoot Out Newcastle on Friday 11th July 2008. Entry forms will not be accepted prior to this date. To keep up to date with breaking news subscribe to The Shoot Out Newsletter.

• Entries will be accepted from 5pm till 8pm Friday 11th July 2008.

Remember Registrations are at James St Plaza, Beaumont Street Hamilton.

• Producers must make sure that all participating members of their team are official entrants of

The Shoot Out Newcastle 2008 and that they are made aware of the Entry Guidelines (pdf) and the Conditions of Entry (pdf) before entering the event.

• All films MUST be submitted on Mini DV PAL (not HD). It is recommended films be shot 16:9 Anamorphic. For more information check out the dubbing facility

• Any participants in a filmmaking team participating in The Shoot Out Newcastle who do not officially enter are not covered by The Shoot Out Newcastle’s public liability insurance and are ineligible for any category prizes.

• Entry Forms will not be accepted if incomplete.

• Payment must be provided with completed Entry Forms:

- $50.00 (gst included) non-refundable team entry fee; this initial fee also covers the entry fee for one team member

- $10.00 (gst included) non-refundable entry fee for every other team member

                           

• You can pay by Cheque Money Order or cash. Sorry we do not have credit card or eftpos facilities.

• An extra $10 (gst included) must be paid for the return of your film. This is optional.

Films are returned 2 weeks after the final Sydney screening.
